The LOMO is a compact Russian made camera known in certain arty circles for its blurring of images and vivid colors. It is ideal for taking pictures in low light situations; the shutter will remain open as long as it takes to create a good exposure. Sometimes my finger cramps up and I quit before the camera does. Anytime the shutter is open for more than a 1/60 of a second, blurring is inevitable. With the LOMO, that's the point. It has a small glass lens that tends to concentrate colors as well. Every roll comes back full of surprises, some of which are even pleasant. A true LOMO devotee uses the cheapest, lowest grade 100 speed film available.
